Reviews and Ratings
The Radisson Shanghai offers exceptionally spacious and comfortable rooms, equipped with top-notch amenities that enhance the stay. While some aspects of the room may require updating to match modern standards, the overall experience is pleasant. The location is superb, situated at the heart of Shanghai near popular attractions. However, the service fluctuates in quality, with highlights such as helpful assistance and convenient services but occasional lapses in attention to detail and outdated room interiors. The dining options are decent, though improvements in service efficiency and food quality could enhance the experience further.
The hotel is conveniently located with a perfect view of Shanghai, featuring clean and spacious rooms and a very comfortable bed. However, online booking through Booking. com did not allow for collecting points. The service was helpful despite a confusion with the elevators, and the fair price for a 50 km drive was unexpectedly reasonable. The location is truly the best part, right in front of People Square with easy access to the subway and nearby sites. The dining experience offered limited vegetarian options but delivered excellent food at cheap prices.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms were comfortably spacious with beautiful views of Shanghai and great beds, they were not as clean as expected for a 5-star brand in Shanghai. The hotel offered a suite with 2 large bedrooms, comfortable beds, 2 large bathrooms, a separate sitting room, dining area, and some kitchen facilities. The decoration was a bit old-fashioned. The hotel's location opposite the famous Nanjing Road shopping street was convenient for exploring the city but lacked a modern touch in decor.
The hotel was equipped with all the amenities we required; however, the rooms smelled of body odor and were not very clean, especially the floors. The outdated decoration did not meet our expectations for a 5-star brand hotel, specifically in Shanghai. The large room offered good facilities, but the separate office room was unnecessary.
I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and filled with goodies, though a bit dated. The service was exceptional, especially Bob at the front desk and the senior manager at the restaurant. The location was ideal, right by Nanjing Road and People's Park. The dining options were delicious, although the breakfast service could be improved. Overall, a wonderful experience with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel's rooms were a bit old and small, with poor quality finish for the price paid and without breakfast included. On the bright side, the service was polite and professional. The location was great, close to the People's Square metro station and various shopping and dining options. The dining experience was average at best. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a luxurious experience. The service was outstanding, with some room for improvement in English language skills. The location was perfect, right by Nanjing Road and People's Square, offering easy access to city attractions. The dining options catered to everyone's tastes, although a broader selection would have been appreciated. Overall, a great value for money with excellent facilities to enjoy.
If you're looking for a place to wind down after a bustling day in the city, this hotel offers a comfortable king-size bed, chaise lounge, TV, and an elegant bathroom with a separate large shower and soaking bathtub. While the room was spacious, it fell slightly below my expectations due to a lack of maintenance and signs of aging. Unfortunately, my room wasn't ready even after sending a special request.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were incredibly comfortable with a beautiful view of Shanghai, and the bed was super comfy. The staff provided outstanding service, especially the restaurant manager, Jonathan, who even surprised my friend with a Birthday cake. The location was perfect for sightseeing, with easy access to the subway and key attractions. However, the dining options were limited for vegetarians.
The hotel has a really good location, close to shopping streets and restaurants. The rooms are spacious but could use some maintenance, however, they are generally comfortable. The service varies from unhelpful to extremely professional. The dining options are fair, and the hotel offers limited facilities.
